Getting Started -- Accessing Employee and Timesheet Data from Multiple Computers in One Location (LAN)
Accessing employee and time sheet data from multiple computers requires all the computers that will run the TimeFlow Client to be connected to the same local area network.  TimeFlow does not require or use sharing of files.  Each TimeFlow client will automatically detect the TimeFlow server that has been installed on one of the computers.

To set up TimeFlow on Multiple Computers at One Location:

1. Install the TimeFlow Server component on ONE computer on your network.  This does NOT have to be a special 'Server' computer per se.  It can be any computer on your network, even though we recommend for it to be a computer that is not frequently reset or turned off during the times other computers will be used to access time sheet reports or employees will be punching in/out.

2. Install the TimeFlow Client component on all the computers that will be used to punch in and out and view time sheet reports.

3. Now that you have installed the necessary TimeFlow components, open the TimeFlow Client on any of the machines and click on 'Connect to Server...'

4. You should see your TimeFlow Server name under 'Easy Connect'.  Check the server name and click 'OK'.  If you experience a problem connecting the the TimeFlow Server, click on the link below for more information:

5. Once you have successfully connected, follow the steps in the link below to add employees and let the punch in and out:
